Event description

A chartered trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway in support of Rowcroft Hospice. The trip begins at Paignton Station foyer departing at 6.30pm. The SeaGals and Dartington Morris Men will join Magician Lez the Fez with tricks and balloon sculpture for the kids.

You are welcome to bring your own picnics and beer or wine if desired. Dogs are welcome and there is provision for reduced mobility passengers. A magical 'Harry Potter' quiz (£2 group donation) especially written by Emma Tolton will be run on the course train journey, with a prize of 2 tickets for Steam and Carols in Dec 20.

The trip takes you via Churston Station at 7pm to pick up passengers and singing group 'One Accord' Parking at The Railway Inn is available and passengers are invited back to the pub on returning at 9.15pm for further singing and magic tricks. 

The train will enter Greenway Tunnel for a concert inside the train. Carriages will have a performing group singing.  Continuing down to Kingswear Station Platform the train will be reversed into the Station to create a theatre atmosphere. Further dance and singing will take place on the platform, with Dartington Morris Men.

We expect to arrive back at Paignton at 9.30pm.

Where to buy tickets

Tickets will be on sale from the Galleon Stores and The Village Salon, both in Galmpton. They can also be ordered and paid for online using the form opposite, or by phoning / emailing 07879442416 or for further guidance and dispatch of tickets. You can also print and complete the application form Music and Magic Leaflet Tuesday 18th Feb 2020 and post it to us with your payment.

Please note, Family tickets are not available on the night.
